A few weeks ago I took a group of kids to the movie. As we were walking in one of the kids (who was 14 y/o) asked “What do you do in a movie?” I stopped and looked at him and said “Have you never been to a movie?” His reply ….. “I’ve never been to a mall.” Sitting in the movie watching him I realized how blessed my family is. Yes, we have felt tremendous loss, had our ups and downs, blow ups and falling outs but we also shared dozens of boxes of popcorn at movies, family trips, concerts, day trips to zoos, school trips, thousands of family meals going “out to eat” and hours of MMA TV watching….. all time well spent in my book.
We hope all the kids who came to Magnolia Son’s Back To School event have time well spent this school year.
