On the day after the anniversary of Christian’s death Todd, Alexa and I went down to the beach and spent a couple hours carving the Magnolia Son logo in the sand. We had several people stop and ask us what we were doing and the significance of the image we were making in the sand. It gave us an opportunity to talk about Christian and the significance of all the elements that make up the Magnolia Son logo. The next morning the image in the sand was still intact. It appeared to show up better in the morning light than it had the day before. We were surprised that the image remained so distinct the next morning. I think it was God giving us a little gift to hold on to. 🙂
