Christian was not home for his birthday last year. His birthday is November 4th and he did not get off the boat until the 7th. As was our family tradition we were supposed to meet and eat out. With this being his 21st birthday I had gotten a cake to reflect the occasion. Finally legal!! Christian liked to shoot dice which was a favorite pastime on the boat I think, though he never told me about it unless he won. The dice were on a 2 and a 1 to reflect his age and of course he was now of legal age to buy beer…:) Christian didn’t make it to our dinner but we had cake at the house. That was the last time he stayed at the house. He moved out that night thinking he was 21 and should be out on his own when really he was still just a kid wanting to have a good time. 🙂
