Last week one of the kids gave an employee at The Crossings a Thank You note to give to me. I thought other people might want to see how just buying a pair of shoes, something a lot of us take for granted, can really impact a child’s self esteem. And though she may have been a tad bit dramatic with her Thank You…. I think it touched her heart as it did mine.
Papa JoJo Christian was only three weeks old when Mrs. Imogene Boswell started keeping him while Todd and I worked. Mrs. Imogene only kept teacher’s kids but she made an exception for me and kept Christian which meant he was usually the only child there after 3:30.
