Webster dictionary defines “birthday” as the day that something began. Twenty six years ago Christian “began”…. He began as this ball of energy, always smiling, mischievious boy and turned into this man who was compassionate, giving, loyal and a son we were so proud of. He was not perfect but it was some of those imperfections that made him loved by many and at times showcased his true character. So we celebrate every year Christian’s “beginning”. We call it Christian’s Wishing Night. A night that is spent with family and friends with kids all around, laughter and memories floating in the air. This year the weather didn’t want to cooperate. All forecasts said we would never get the wishing lanterns up. But after a lot of praying and nail biting the rain stopped…… Hopefully Christian was there to receive all the messages and wishes sent to him.
